Role Overview
ESG& is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sustainability Associate to join our Research and Development team. As a Senior Sustainability Associate, you will play a pivotal role in developing and advancing our cutting-edge solutions, contributing to the evolution of sustainability practices across industries. You will collaborate with a diverse team of experts and work on exciting projects that make a real difference in the world.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on sustainability trends, regulations, and emerging best practices to inform the development of ESG& solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement new features and enhancements for our ESG technology platforms.
- Lead and participate in the development of innovative sustainability methodologies, frameworks, and tools to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
- Support the creation of thought leadership content, including white papers, reports, and presentations, to showcase ESG&’s expertise and thought leadership in the field.
- Stay up to date with industry developments and emerging technologies related to sustainability, ESG, and corporate responsibility.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to internal teams and clients on sustainability-related issues and strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or related field, with a focus on research and development.
- Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks, standards, and reporting methodologies (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
- Proven experience in conducting research, analyzing data, and translating findings into actionable insights.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences.
